Research Scientist
Katerina is an interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, human–AI interaction, and digital minds. She holds a PhD in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience from the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. Her research focuses on neurocognitive development, social cognition, and the understanding of biological and digital minds. She has held research positions at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior, Harvard University, Kyoto University, and the University of Glasgow. Her work has been presented internationally and published in leading venues spanning neuroscience and human–AI interaction.
