As part of our commitments to being rigorous in our own research and encouraging rigor in advocacy communities, we aim to be open about our governance, procedures, finances, and mistakes. Sentience Institute launched in the summer of 2017, so this page will be updated as we nail down those initial materials and compile them for public presentation. Here's what we have now:

Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Harassment & Discrimination Policy

Sentience Institute participates in the Center for Open Science's Open Data badge program. We grant the Open Data badge based on two criteria: the published article (1) provides the URL, DOI, or other permanent path for accessing the data in a public, open access repository, and (2) contains sufficient information for an independent researcher to reproduce the reported results, though we do not conduct a full replication ourselves.

Subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates on our research and activities. We'll email you once a month at most!
